Unfiltered, I am Who I am
Posted On 10/15/2008 08:31:08 by msjrb2005

I'm 21 and I am a ball of confusion, love, joy, laughter, pain, worry, trust, doubt, faith, God, sin. I am on this journey each day discovering who I am, what I want to be, and where I want to go. Trying to find a place to "fit in" but each time relaizing that I don't fit in anywhere. That's what makes me who I am. I'm young but with an old soul. Give me Maxwell over Lil Wayne, Van Hunt over Chris Brown, Trina Broussard over Rhianna. Don't get me wrong: I like to go out and dance to what's "mainstream" but to the core of who I am, I am a work of art that is hard to figure out, difficult to read, yet lovely to watch and inspect. This is who I am. Unfiltered.

I know this is extremely late, but be happy with your individuality.  We serve a God of diversity.  We have many species of animals on this planet.  Many different groups, races, cultures, and demographical distinctions throught the world.  If God intended for everyone to be the same, we would all look alike, think alike, act alike, and live alike.  However, we serve a God that has disversity in his creations.  We have different planets in our solar system that are distinct from one another in subtle and obvious ways.  Embrace your diversity for what it is and love it.  That is how God has made you, and if anyone has a problem with it, tell them to take it up with Him.

Don't worry, I don't fit in most places either. That's why I create my own environments....

Peace sis

You should check out the sister site to the Houston Ministry of Culture. It is http://www.lifepathfirstfriday.com

I am suggesting this because you mentioned you are discovering who you are and what you're supposed to be doing. I think the Life Path concept is a good start. What is your full birthdate?
